Just Arrived
Tuesday, June 21, 2011
im in kota kinabalu at the moment. just arrived for a short stop before hitting the skies (...in a good way) again tomorrow morning. im really at my worst right now because my body is still trying to re-configure its natural clock to make me living and sleeping like a normal person again. it took me almost an hour and a half to fall asleep last night at 11. the flight today was nice. clear skies wonderful weather, and everything seemed to fall into place quite well. im really looking forward for tomorrow's flight and i'll keep you all updated if i have time. for now i need to rest. yes i don't shower. it's me going green... literally.
Singapore
Thursday, November 05, 2009
me and my friends went to singapore recently to relax, breathe, and have fun. the main goal for the trip actually was that these guys wanted to do some mods on their fd2R. so we went there only for one night just for upgrading the cars. while there we video taped and took pictures of pretty much every single move that we made. so i am going to be posting some pictures of our trip. unfortunately, by "some" i mean most of them will be of me…or me and a friend or two.

below is a pilot named ismail. currently he's on the boeing 737-400. he plays "living on a prayer" by bon jovi in guitar hero at expert level. he sleeps in cupboards.

plus, you might recognize the dude in the last picture... im talking about the one with the red shirt of course. a quick note about him, his name is ari and he is a boeing 777 rated pilot. also a pro photographer. he took tons of photos using his gigantic camera during the trip. can't wait to see all the photos from him. you can check out his blog here. talk to you guys soon!!!

Seizing The Day Forlornly
Thursday, February 05, 2009
it is 1800 hrs. today was quite a full and hectic day. nevertheless, it felt the same... except the double in price of food and the delightedness that you get from the facilities that's been provided for entertainment is multiplied by 10. yes, i'm talking about kuala lumpur of course.
i arrived here yesterday. and oh boy, all i can say is that time really moves at a very slow rate whenever you're alone. from waking up early in the morning, to eating breakfast, to all the time that i spend inside the cab and light rail transits. all of them felt very sluggish. of course, if you're with a group of people, you won't be feeling this. because all of this weird personal thoughts of mine is only logical if you're doing everything solitarily.
but the thing is, you can learn a lot whenever you're by yourself. before proceeding with a decision, lots of thinking will be going on and snap decision making will also exist at the same time without external assist. and the beauty of this, is that all of those happens nonchalantly.
it's like painting an artwork. you can't produce a great idea for your masterpiece whenever you're with the crowd. but put it in a room with only you and the canvas, for sure the brush will start moving. you paint your own life when you're alone.

Hi Again
Thursday, October 02, 2008
here is another ramble babble episode of me in penang during the festive season where brothers and cousins spend a good part of the day sleeping, playing video games and desperately trying very hard just to look cool... and failed downheartedly. at least the unlimited fictions that keeps popping vigorously in our heads is enough to keep us laughing and at the same time having other people making boring faces while thinking "what the...?"

i'm assuming that all of you already know that i'm totally into music. so does my brother and my cousins. so whenever the 4 of us is present and the lineup is complete, we would have this crazy ideas of recording our own versions of acoustic covers of songs from our favourite artists and such. it's not that professional and it's not that good. we're just doing it for fun and also for a hopeless cry for attention. so this year it's a bit special because we got a hotel room to go nuts with and everything that will happen is only limited by our imaginations.

kay will be singing, and the rest of us will be on guitars. and from there everything is schizophrenic and scattered and all over the place. and below is a a video of us being cocky with some sprinkles of idiotic sense.

so yeah, whenever we meet a lot of energy will be wasted. it can turn the strongest of men into broken lost souls in lame humor. here's mud in your eye.

Hi
Tuesday, September 30, 2008
for the next few days, i will be in penang. actually, right now i'm already in penang getting excited for this year's festive season (i call it raya, some people call it eid, and there are also others who call it "something". i'm not allowed to type that "something" due to the fact that i'll be blamed for stealing ideas under the laws of "his" copyright infringement. you'll know who that guy is if you are a regular reader or subscriber of this blog of mine... which also brings me to the fact that there is none. whoever he is, the clue is that he is from my batch
).
ok, enough with the pointless rant. let's talk about me. this year's raya experience will be a bit different because for the second and remaining nights, i'll be sleeping at a hotel rather than at grandma's. i followed my uncle, together with my brother jd, and my two sick n' brazen cousins kay and r-yan. what about the rest? they stayed at grandma's.

now, im at coffee bean, slurping the best thing that you can have at 11.30 on a tuesday night, at the same time texting with a good friend of mine. alongside with me is kay you-tubing some stuff and r-yan doing some eye contact with the waitress... well at least it seems like that.

i'll keep updating more but for now, i leave you here. and before i forget, i would like to wish you all selamat hari raya aidilfitri. apologies for all the annoying and stupid things i've done in the past. either in my actions or verbally in my typings. im sorry. so hope you have a great raya and always remember to have fun in whatever situations you are in... even in the toughest ones. like what you're in right now after reading this claptrap.

Terengganu In June
Friday, June 06, 2008
tonight i'll be going to terengganu. i'll be spending about 2 nights there. also, last nite i watched juno, and i think that movie is simple and great. go watch it if u haven't. because for now(and as usual...), i know i am officially the last person in this world to watch that movie. plus, go and buy the new jason mraz album.
Pictures From Italy
Saturday, May 31, 2008
that's how the topic of this post will look like if i spend my one week break in italy. but i didn't. i went to penang and kL. now, im back home. i arrived late last nite, the flight was delayed and i touched down in kota bharu around 1230 am. did a few stuff, break a few things, cramped my leg, sniped some head-shots in call of duty 2, and got sniped a lot of times in call of duty 4. anyway, here are some pictures that i took. there aren't many, because my camera ran out of battery power. but most of all, it's because i'm lazy.

the coolest cow ever

and i want to know the guy who named this lounge

thats it for now. stay tuned for more madness as i dive through the hidden vines and valleys of my hard drive, searching, browsing, digging, zipping and stuffing, just to give you a priceless scam-filled entertainment which soon you will found out to be a gold-mine for your golden decades. may the force be with you...and with me too.

Île de Coton

late last week me and the conquistadors of batch 10 went to terengganu for invasion, with a mindset of bringing the awesome to the fullest, and if time permits, to rule the state starting this year till the fall of mankind. unluckily for us, all of that is just an imagination of neverland, and unlucky for you, this first paragraph is just a waste of your precious minute.
we went there just to relax and enjoy the beach and the nature. but it turned out that the whole coast of the terengganu beach is unswimable (is that a valid word? it looks rotten...unswimable. but you get my point right?) and you can't even get into the water. we arrive there early and we got turned down early as well. look at the upsetting face of mac.

so we made a decision, we went to kapas island. after doing lots of stuff at school, it's nice to be somewhere warm and relaxing. we went out to get something for lunch and the price for food and drinks over there is almost double. the place that we stayed in, has the most terrifying name ever in the history of resort industry. not to mention the place. not for the faint of heart.

we wandered around the island for a bit, taking artsy photos of random seashore. like this.

during the night, it rained a little bit and we headed over under the shelter. we talked about fadzil's sideburns.
we woke up early(at least) on the next day and we leave the island at 10 am. before that mac threw some twisties into the ocean and all the fishes went wild. mac feeded chemical crisps to fishes. don't be surprise that within the near future, most fishes from the east malaysian sea would be a victim of junk food disease. mac, you spoiled my main dish!

and now for your viewing displeasure, i give you a frightening footage of zul chasing the toilet. bye bye.
