ok. don't guess. because you'll for sure be guessing some weird and ridiculous stuff or beings. like bad breath and such. of which i don't have today...yet. anyway, here are some photos that's quite rare and never before published. it's because sometimes i do feel like not sharing my photos with the public. but the main reason is because i've just took the photo...i guess that fact supersedes the whole sentence or might as well be the whole paragraph. enjoy your weekends smart people.

haha...nice pics there bro!...kempunan nk masuk cockpit, tp xleh2...haha...btw, quite confused with the ATR autopilot system. ade knob ker nk switch dari VOR ke LNAV for navigation? cause i push nav and it say VOR instead of LNAV and i can't find that switch if there is any. Flight 1 said their airplane were modelled nearly 100% accurate with real ATR so i guess i just asked you then. so if real ATR has that switch, the model in sim also will have that switch. kalau x, i'm going to sue flight1 for making such wrong advertisement..haha..
1- basically the autopilot system just take feeds from the navigational source that you use as a primary. be it LNAV or conventional NAV (VOR/LOC). it depends on the layout that you put in your EHSI.
2- this layout can be switched back and forth by using a push button located on the pedestal (beside the GNSS). one switch says VOR/LOC (conventional display) and one switch says RNAV (the LNAV display).
3- when u pick VOR/LOC as your display, the moment you hit the "NAV" button on the autopilot panel (a.k.a AFCS), it'll show VOR (if it's a VOR frequency), or it'll show LOC (if it's a localizer frequency).
4- so, if u want the word "LNAV" to appear, you have to make sure your EHSI display is set to RNAV----(refer paragraph 2), then just hit the NAV button on the AFCS.
keep in mind that the LNAV data is set up using the GNSS. if the GNSS is not working, then u cannot have LNAV.
hope that helps,
have a nice day
found that button. just beside the GNSS and below the fuel quantity indicator. thanks for the explanation. help me a lot. this atr is quite confusing. no wonder sir jazlan said turboprop more difficult than jet liner. now i know why. thanks agai bro. have a nice day too.
Hey there Jaz ... are you already sitting by the FO seat? Kaelv
hey kaelv,
yeah, im already sitting in the FO seat. or SO seat would soud more appropriate. hehehe....
Wow! That's awesome ... How time flies and there u are, on the right seat in flight deck already. Must make arrangement to be in the ATR piloted by u one of these days. Kaelv.
